Professional classes

C. Poussot-Vassal and P. Vuillemin, "Identification and approximation via rational interpolation (Identification et approximation par interpolation rationnelle)", Professional seminar given at EUROSAE (2 days), Toulouse, France
>> in French (but English is available on demand)

This class mainly tagets engineers (from young to advanced) willing to get familiar with:
(i) the identification and the approximation of dynamical systems,
(ii) the recent (mathematical and numerical) tools for rational interpolation (both single and multi-variate),
(iii) and in their application in an industrial context.
A particular emphasis is put on the so-called rational interpolation framework. A balanced presentation between theoretical and application implementation is proposed. Applications for different purposes (e.g. models static/dynamic, parametric, multi-input/output, etc.) and different domains (e.g. aircraft, space, energy, pollutant, etc.) are suggested.

Visit the "talks" page to access lectures on my research topics, mostly on rational approximation in the Loewner framework.
